Little Room Edit
Our editorial policy
Useful, clear, and honest about how the work is made.
Our standard
A guide should help someone make a better decision about their own space. We favor specific questions, realistic tradeoffs, clear measurements and examples over lists of fashionable products or promises that a single trick will transform every room.
Research and AI assistance
Our guides are developed with AI assistance and reviewed for clarity, usefulness, internal consistency and relevant source support. The editorial desk is a publication byline. It does not represent a claimed team of licensed interior designers or reporters who visited the photographed spaces.
We do not label AI-assisted writing as personally tested, independently surveyed, or based on an author’s lived experience. Suggestions and illustrative scenarios are presented as such.
Sources and numerical advice
Where a guide includes a manufacturer requirement, product precaution or safety point, we link to relevant primary sources where available. Those sources support the referenced points; they do not imply endorsement of our publication. Source instructions may change.
Example room sizes, furniture dimensions and suggested clearances are planning starting points. They are not building-code, accessibility or professional installation specifications. Your actual measurements, local requirements, lease and manufacturer instructions control.
Images and diagrams
Photographs are used as editorial illustrations. A photograph does not prove that the arrangement is suitable for every home or that we designed the room. Photo credits and license references are available on our image credits page.
Our room diagrams are illustrative planning sketches. They do not show structural details or certify safe access, egress, balcony capacity or furniture installation.
Products, budgets and revenue
Our launch edition does not contain paid sponsorships, affiliate links or third-party advertising scripts. Future sponsored work or affiliate links will be identified clearly. We do not invent prices, discounts or reviews. Budget examples and tool inputs are estimates selected by the reader.
Corrections and updates
If a guide needs a correction, contact the publisher with the article URL and the detail that should be checked. We will review the issue and update the publication date or correction note when a material change is made.
Scope
We offer general planning and decorating information. For structural work, electrical changes, plumbing, local legal requirements or individual accessibility needs, use a qualified professional. This website does not replace product instructions or your building’s rules.
